A friend in Richmond introduced me to a couple websites when I was last in town that randomly linked me with this goofy looking character pictured above. A video chat room on Reddit which is what he first showed me that led me to a different video chat that was interconnected to a website called https://tinychat.com/ … A very strange site, but at the time while I was doing a lot of photo/video work on my computer it made for the perfect thing to have running in the background and periodically checking in with to see all the twisted things going on. Strange things about it aside there were actually a surprising amount of interesting people to talk to. I met and even worked with a handful of them over the following years, this guy included. His parents had a farm on Vashon Island so I stayed with him for a couple weeks helping out here and there while exploring Seattle.
A few weeks later Graham and I plotted out a Couchsurfing/camping trip down the coast of Washington and Oregon to San Francisco and set off on a brief rainy coastal adventure.
Graham and I parted ways in San Fran while staying at the Adelaide Hostel, he went back home and I caught a $30 Chinatown bus to L.A.
